Purelash Extension & Perming
Is it safe?
It is very safe, there is no surgery, no contact to your skin or eyelid. The eyelash extension is done on your existing eyelash. It takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.
How long does it last?
It can last up to 4 weeks. Your eyelash life cycle is about 5-6 months.
Factors that could affect the eyelash extension, depends mainly on the professionalism of the beautician.
There are both old and new eyelashes (2-4 months old) on your eyelids. If the beautician extends most of the eyelashes onto the old lashes, they will start to fall out within 2-3 weeks. If it is done correctly, i.e., if the extensions are chosen to be extended on suitable individual eyelashes, they should gradually fall off over 2 months.
Maintenance factor after extension: the life of the eyelash extension may also be affected by grease on the face. If the beautician is not experienced enough to clean the oils around the eyelash thoroughly, the newly extended eyelash will not last as long as it should.
How do care for the new eyelashes?
- Do not wash your face or rub your eyes for at least three hours after the procedure.
- When you wash your face, be gentle around the eye area.
- Avoid facial massage with oil based product. The new eyelashes may have shorter life span with prolonged contact with oil.
